Southmead at Southmead U8s
On a beautiful spring morning, at Southmead's Home pitch the two teams began the match with great enthusiasm.
Southmead scored first, with a fast try followed by two more tries within the first few minutes.
Bristol Youth Rugby team then set up four fantastic tries for Joaquin who managed to weave between several players. Kai was the team captain, who then went on to score two spectacular tries near the end of the game. Leon, Matti, Abigail, Nate, Dan and Josh did a great job tagging the opposing team.
Southmead fought back with five more tries marginally winning the game with eight tries to six.
The Bristol Youth Rugby team were a credit to the game with their amazing team work, sportspersonship and behaviour on the pitch. Well done folks. We are looking forward to the rematch next Sunday on our home ground.
